Tierd of being treated down
tired of being thrown around
tired of putting on smiles
tired of impravises
I am so tired
DOwn to my core
smiling for you
putting on a show
I am not perfect
I don't try to be
but you don't see me
you see an image
a false impression of truth
I cry inside as I smile
I laugh while my mind screams
You have made me...
Bury my soul
my emotions all whack
and you ask why I cut
So if I give you no real answers
So if I lie and say I'm fine
I'll put on this show
Till I die down
Brocken to the core!

| Beautiful. Really, i can't tell you how much I liked this poem. It's exactly what I was looking for tonight, because I'm feeling the exact same way right now. Things always turn around, but I've never been able to capture this kind of feeling. I really am emotionally tired myself, and this poem really made me feel better. Such a good read, great work! |
