I cant turn back now but Ill die going on
How did everything end up so wrong?
Ive been waiting for this to change for so long
Why did I have to be so headstrong?
Bleeding wounds will let you know
That the fear is still close by
That it wasnt so long ago
When I said I couldnt die
Oh the unsettled spirits will rejoice tonight
Thinking of my own souls flight
I used all this energy to put up a losing fight
So Ill close my eyes and say goodnight
Without thinking twice, set my heart on fire
Take everything I lived for, take my whole empire
Cut me from the inside out, from my cheek down to my throat
Be your own worlds hero, please just let me go
