Sometimes love comes to people as an angel
And sometimes love will answer a heartfelt prayer
It's the warmth that caused a cold heart to beat again
And it's the water that trickles into your hearts barren lands
I don't believe this cuase angels always have to leave
And a prayer can only last so long...
So what happens when the waters start to fade
And before you know it, love went away...

| This is so true...i mean honestly i dont believe in love, cause ppl grow and they get sick of it. Love is so sporadic compared to fairytales, and it seems so..fake once u break up with someone u thought u loved..but neways thats just me on love. Your poem was fantastic though, it really spoke to me (obviously) and you really have a way with explaining and describing any given situation in your work. Really great write. |
