I told myself
that I didn't let you in
you stumbled upon that wall
and I thought you didn't pass
You tried and I fought you
determined you'd fail
you struggled and pushed
I pulled against you
we got no where
in the end...
just a tired soul
and a cracking wall
only I didn't see the cracks then...
So with a heavy heart
you turned and left
I stood there watching you off
not flinching till you were out of sight
And when your figure finally faded away
my walls came crashing down...
