I've cried a hundred million tears
Screamed for all the world to hear
Told my tale time and again
Found a few endearing friends
Lost some battles won some wars
Closed and opened many doors
Walked in many distant lands
Dug my toes in different sands
I've lived on dreams I couldn't find
As time had left me far behind
Searched for reasons high and low
"til there was no where left to go
I've fought back all the memories
That held me down wouldn't set me free
For all I've lived the good the bad
More I've felt the happy the sad
I must let go stop the fight
Continue on to futures light
Accept my life and its events
Clarify what made no sense
Start anew and drop the old
Tell a story never told
