Fear has yet to paralyze my legs The teapot rattles on the shelf Who is overwhelmed by time and distress? Silenced by priority's quell Rushed until thier hair grows grey Restepping into every morning Every walk the same sweet sway Every cloud the same rain storming Thier tears; saltless, remorsless Unable to hear a soft cry of life Thier nails dug into the steering wheel They dont see thier soul has been kifed I dive into self indulgence Happiness isn't just a crack in the door Perhaps my life is less than routine Perhaps I've created something more
