On this long cold drive
I think of you
Only you
With your light blonde hair
And bright green eyes
I think about
The joke you told me
The other day
And the way it made me laugh
I dream of you
I only wish
That I could tell you
How I really feel
But I know you wouldn't care
Because you think of me
Only as a friend
Ha
I scorn those words
I've heard them to many times to count
Alas
I've said them too
To many a guy before
So I understand
If you want me
Only as a friend
