We always seem to be here
Never a place to go
Not much in our lives now
My daughter and I alone.
I need someone to give me
More to my boring life
To change the way Im feeling
Just lonely on the inside.
Just love to share with us
And somewhere else to go
Just stuck within these walls
With nothing much to show.
I just want a family
To be here with us now
To share our lives together
To turn our lives around.
So tired of the silence
So scared of missing out
Afraid its getting too late
Just feel like crying aloud.
Just never ending quietness
Alone and wanting more
Dreaming of a new day
But better than before.
My marriage was disaster
So bad I needed out
The love was gone forever
Was always scream and shout.
Its better here without her
One thing I wont regret
I had to make her leave here
Shes one I shall forget.
But still I have my daughter
And we both still need love
She needs to have the influence
Shes What Im Thinking Of.
To help me love and raise her
To help her comprehend
Why mom and dad are broken
How its better in the end.
I want someone to show her
How it feels to have love
To not yell at and mistreat her
Shes What Im Thinking Of.
I want her to be happy
To grow up in her life
Without her mommy yelling
Just dad, and his new wife.
A family held together
Love and laughter we can share
The way it always should have been
For her it wasnt fair.
She has been my everything
I always show her love
Yet still, theres one piece missing
Shes What Im Thinking Of.
She just needs a little more
Its something I cant do
A woman to be there for her
Someone she can look up to.
Someone to teach and guide her
And show her all their love
To help to be her mommy
Shes What Im Thinking Of.
I need someone to help us
Just be here and share our love
Together, bring her up right

| Awww that was so sweet. Your daugther is so lucky to have a father like you. I hope you have a happy family some day. I hope your daugther feels the love of a mother that she needs. This makes me think of my family and it isn't so happy. We don't get alone. My mom and dad always seems to criticize me in some way whether its noitced or not. Your peom is very good and well written. You should write more. |
