Why does it come and go?
Confidence, put on hold
Nothing yet can be certain
Only leaving us hurting.
Unsure what lies up ahead
Rough seas, barely can tread
Sinking, drowning in tears
Confined, to live with these fears.
Waiting, and filling with doubt
What is our future about?
Will we be here in the end?
Will it ever be more than friends?
We know that just isnt enough
We knew though, this would be tough
Together, we can make it all true
Why fight it, we both want it too.
Why cant we, just follow our road
To lead us where we want to go?
I know it will mean we will wait
But is that so wrong, if its fate?
I know for sure, and I believe
That you are the one, for me
And I know, that I am for you
Look how we met, must be true.
By chance, somehow, you were there
We both then, had started to care
Like lightning, you struck from the sky
It was love, we could not deny.
We fought it, but look where we are?
Weve already come here so far
Together, look what weve made?
A beautiful, love serenade.
Each day, you know how its been
The love just grows stronger again
We cant even keep us apart
We both feel it, ache in our heart.
We have to hold what weve got
True love is burning so hot
You know this, just like I do
From nothing, look how this grew?
Its love, so completely, complete
Only thing left, is to meet
Then we can finally both see
How we were So Meant To Be.
We fell in love, right from day one
We both saw this coming all along
On this, we both must agree
How we were So Meant To Be.
