Here I am to tell you
Just listen, and you will see
I have to finally say this
That Kiss Meant Something To Me.

I know were very close friends
I cherish you that way
But kissing you was wonderful
It means more every day.

So how can I explain this?
Youve made it all so clear
You dont want it to go on
Not every time youre here.

I know you have confusion
Youre not sure whats on your mind
I want to help you find it
Just dont leave me behind.

I felt it when you held on
Cant this be what it could be?
It felt like a connection
That Kiss Meant Something To Me.

Its hard for me to hide this
I just really want to know
Is kissing me as your friend
The only way that we can go?

Did it not stir up some feelings?
Did you feel something inside?
Was it really only casual?
Am I left here, still outside?

How can I get through to you
And show you how I care?
That Kiss Meant Something To Me
Somehow this is not fair.

Again Im having feelings
I just cant keep them in
That Kiss Meant Something To Me
I dont see that as a sin.

I only want to see you
Spend some time, and maybe see
If I could show you next time
That Kiss Meant Something To Me.

You made it feel so tender
How I knew it would be
I only had to tell you
That Kiss Meant Something To Me.

It moved me so completely
I prayed for it to last
Ill do all that I can now
To move on from the past.

Just keep things as youre asking
Of course I understand
I only want your happiness
Im offering my hand.

Please take it when you need it
Im here for you, you see
You had to know how I felt
That Kiss Meant Something To Me.

Anytime your feeling strong
Ill still be here, youll see
Reflecting on how sweetly
That Kiss Meant Something To Me.
