What is now the future?
Whats in store for me?
Its been so hard to get here
I guess it had to be.
Ive learned so many lessons
But so much more to know
I hope to find these answers
To what Im looking for.
Nothing has come easy
Hard times all the way
Its made me who I am
What I am now today.
They say that you should seek
And then youll always find
Ive tried to do all that
But it just blows my mind.
I usually find heartache
So far thats been the case
I think Ive tried too hard
I keep losing my place.
I just need some daylight
Something to light my way
To show me how to find it
To bring some love I pray.
I only want some happiness
I have so much to give
I need to share it somehow
Its how I want to live.
Just once I wish for something
To last and work out fine
A love thats pure like mine is
A love to last all time.
Ive found this love a few times
Of course its always lost
Not by my own choices
But circumstantial cost.
Always seems to be a reason
Love just never stays
I find it, but it disappears
Why does it always fade?
I need to make a home now
To share it with someone
To find my way in my life
Before I come undone.
Ive been through so much hurting
Ive suffered all I can
Its time to figure life out
To Just Be Me Again.
I dont know what is coming
Or what my life will bring
As long as I can still hold on
Ill still do anything.
