the girl

Contributed by cinderella88 on Tuesday, 25th January 2005 @ 12:56:55 AM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

Im the girl that nobody sees
The one who longs to be invisible
Away from the hate and anger in this world

The girl who follows her group
Never speaking out of turn
Afraid to be noticed

Im the girl who is scared of life
Scared that someone, someday will love her
And with that love, kill me

Because love is deadly
One mistake can break someone
And they may never be able to be fixed

Im the type of girl who is afraid to let anyone see into her mind
Afraid they might actually see the real girl
And then she would be defenseless and vulnerable

So she puts on a mask and pretends to be something shes not
This girl
Is me
