This feeling that wells inside me
I hate it.
This feeling that takes over
It has control.
Every time they make a wrong move
This feeling springs
It swamps over me.
As it takes control
Words spew out my mouth
Full of hatred + spite.
Not a rational thought comes to mind
All I can do
Is curse them to death.
This feeling takes over
It makes me want to scream
Makes me want to murder them all.
The feeling floods my body
Making my blood run fast
And my heart beat faster.
My eyes catch on a blade
My fingers itch to grab it
One thought runs thru my head
Before the irrational stream begins again
That only thought is no
And then the river of Anger flows once more.
Eventually, I know,
The flow will lessen
The Anger will begin to deteriorate
And eventually
I will once again
Be able to think rational thoughts
And once again
Have control over what I say.
