Losing myself
All that I once believed
I no longer see
Losing myself
What once brought me joy
Lives in a void
Looking for hope
Does this pardon mean
I can go free
Gathering rope
Trying to find
What I left behind
Getting a chair
What I once did dread
Wishes me dead
Living despair
Using a lie
To justify life
Tying a knot
Take one last look
At what I forsook
Silently drop

whatever you're looking for, it will always be there...sometimes you just have to look for it where you wouldn't expect it. don't give up, and keep writing...good job.
