alone and desolate
cold wet concrete
walking barefoot
across the street
shadows at the end
brink of erupting
thoughts scattered thin
the angles corrupting
everything would be better
if only he were dead
today is the day
said the shotgun to the head
BANG! shattered silence
birds sent flying
plastic shell hits the ground
woman and children crying
blood on the grass
soaking in the soil
gun in his hand
tears black as oil
everything would be better
if only he were dead
today is the day
said the shotgun to the head
a life cut short
no one would listen
he knew for sure
no one would miss him......
