I'll Never Write Another Word

Contributed by Deleterious_Dislike on Wednesday, 26th January 2005 @ 05:24:33 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

It's cold..but not freezing..
and my eyelids seem to be craving..
Jack frost's blessing, to take ahold of both pieces..
and weld, freeze both parts together..
so that they may never see again.

Poor bewildered children play without knowledge,
onlooks the devil with the power..
to take their innocents straight from their mouths..
like candy from a baby.

Such a cliche..but the truth.

Such candy was stolen from my broken fingers..
I tried to keep hold of my sweet..but..
the Devil was to strong for my brittle bones.

Innocent no more was me..
and the black rot did not take it's time..
within my flesh..nor did it forget to render the soul..
trying it's hardest to stay clear of the darkness.

Lying became my tongue, and Liar became my name.

Blind was now my way of seeing..
silence..my communication method.

Smoke was to fill my lungs..and poisons meet my stomach lining..
they were to be great friends for some time. They often meet..
when ever a slight glimpse of hurt was to ever pop up and say..
'Hello'

Good things come to those who wait..
but bad becomes of those who've waited too long.

I would say to you now...that..I hope tomorrow..
I dont wake...
But I'm afraid it's become a fashion..to say such things.
I'd die for you all, if God..loves self would just give me the chance.
If God..loves self...will give me what i deserve..
He should let me boil whilst those I hate stand by and laugh.

Liar is my name..
Lying my tongue.
Blind my way of seeing..
silence..my communication method.
