Sense-Less Emotions
I am looking
But I just cant see
My eyes are open
Maybe I just dont believe
Im a determined person
Somehow I have lost my faith
How much longer must I endure
These tests I have to take?
I am listening
But I just cant hear
My ears are open
So what gives?
I am always alert
I try to be on time
What exactly is it about me
That I insist on trying to hide?
I am touching
But cant feel anything
My hands are moving
My heart just doesnt feel
My emotions are confused
Not sure what to do
How can I feel the life I live?
The way I used to?

There are those out there who feel flawed in some sense while others seem to walk blindly throughout life. And just when you think there is nothing to stir emotions, a ton of bricks lands proverbially upon the head to show otherwise. Fantastic write and I feel there is so much within it.
