I wish I could see you sleeping
Hearing the rhythm of your eyes
As they live and move
Through the beat of a dream
I wish I could know everything
About you beneath all your insides
How sleepy thoughts turn
So clear and pristine
I wish I could lie there with you
Wrapped in all of your fantasies
The comforting dangers
Will jerk us awake
I wish I could live in your bed
Surviving off food that you bring to me
On a four post island
That we can make
