Ugly, You say you are
But I can't see why
Your so far from ugly
You just need to open your eyes
Those pretty blue eyes
Widen that great smile
That beautiful face of your's,
No need to be in denial
No need to go any further
But you think I'm the only one that sees
You think everyone else is blind to your beauty
So you add that makeup, you think you need
I hate it when you say ugly things about yourself
I like you as you,
And so does everybody else
So stop being so sad and blue
So many people see your beauty
I just wish you could see it too

| A lot of people are like this...and it's so sad...people just go through life hating the way they look and coming out truly hideous in an effort to change it. Well written. I love it! |

This poem was so openly honest, tender and caring that I had to blink tears away.
I think it is beautiful the way you expressed your thoughts.
