Part of me says to move
Another part says to stay
Part of me is trying to sooth
All of my pain away
Part of me is crying deep down
While part of me laughs with cheer
Part of me's trying to find the sound
That no ear can ever hear
Part of me shines so brightly
While part of me remains dull
Part of me keeps my secrets tightly
Even though that's breaking my soul
Part of me screams at the top of its lungs
Another part stays quiet alone
Part of me hears my secrets from so many tongues
Althought I'm very well unknown
Part of my soul is black
And another part is white
Part of my heart is cracked
While the rest is together so tight

Very nice poem,
All who have felt the emotions of love,hate happiness,sadness,a sesne of lonliness
emptiness and traped within a void while the realities of the world move round us just beyond our touch can relate to your words.
But just as in pandora's box, hope remained,within our hearts,as long as love remains there is always hope for a better tomorrow.

| I agree with sojouner and afterdark on this. I wrote something similar recently about all my *parts* although that was a little more, um, detailed. Anyway, this has a soothing rhythm. Keep writing! Cheers! |
