In the night it all feels so plain Not for lack of luster But for its depth in clarity Cool air in and hot thoughts out My eyes open finally in that pale moon light
I taste of complexion But do not suffer its weight I know emotion But lack its pain This is no longer strange to me
What was alien Now bears a familiar face What wrought my soul Now lies at my feet
One thing however remains a puzzle One that I consider when all is gone How was it possible For this blindness to have lasted As long as I have stood in the dark?

Interesting images of someone standing outside somewhere in the night thinking. I like it. Cheers! |
