Cut so deep the blood ran black
Hurt so much she fought to keep her cries back
She screams and cries and cuts for you
But as gifted as you are, you don't have a clue
Don't you notice the plea in her eyes?
She wants the truth; no more lies
Inside her heart is a burning
To kill you is a soulful yearning
She wants to love and hate you at the same time
To want someone to love you; is that a crime?
She fights to keep her tears at bay
But her tears will not save you today
The knife falls to the floor
She steps back in horror and runs through the door
She runs 'till the night makes not sound
She plunges into the water going down, down, down
The next day it's all over the news
2 kids are dead, the responsibility is whose?
One has a hole in her heart
The other found in a lake, in the deepest part
No one's tears can bring these 2 kids back
No one's tears can stop blood from running black
Not even time can bring them to life again
Nothing can help the damage mend
Perhaps if her sister let her know
How much she loved her, if only she let it show
A simple misunderstanding cost a life
Lack of communicating caused so much strife
The girl lost her sister
Over come with a fit of rage she killed her
And now she'll never know
How her sister loved her so

| I must agree. I dont really have a family, only my girlfriend, but it makes me want to wrap her up in cotton wool and bubble wrap(with breathing holes of course) |

| I loved this piece. I never had this close of a relationship with my sister as she is 32 and i'm 16. So if i would call her to tell her i loved her, she'd think i'm crazy. I never think i will have a close relationship with her, i've always loved her a lot, but she hasen't loved me as much as i'd like her to. |
