You're the tears that I cry inside
And the nightmare waking me up each night
All your covers aside
You're a broken doll that smiles at the sight of heartache
You're the lies that lure me in
And the doubts I keep losing to within
Everytime that you begin
I can't forsake the destruction that gave me life
You're the poisonous addiction I can't control
And the reason behind every mistake I recall
A thousand and one tragic fall
This is a pattern I'm trying to walk away from
I'm the unfortunate dress you wear
To hide your wickedness when kindness is near
But I'm your only real fear
When I'll get worn out you'll be alone
