S.O.S. on the inside

Contributed by raven on Friday, 28th January 2005 @ 11:37:16 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

What is the pupose to life and why are we hear? These questions may never be answered but the feelings suggest otherwise. Life is a tyrant of darkness slowely consuming us. The longer we go on the more we are entangled. The vines of pain constatly grow inside untill... the darkness finally covers all like a blanket of destruction placed over the heart before bed.

Is love the answer? How could it be when the blade feels so good? Is there really love or is it just a lie acting as the fertilizer for the vines of self-destruction? Once the countdown begins you grab the clock''s hands and are led to the end. When your life is like this are you in for, just destined to implode?

The pictures were of the gretest times but the pictures of the mind are anything but pleasant. Outside the house it shines and the kids are playing but inside it storms. The storms that bring about death. These words are wrote to possible grant hope to others. Save yourself from this disease. The paralysis of love has already gotten to me. tick-tick.

Short, but nicely written. Well done! :) Easy for many to understand.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
