This is me
So come and see
If you accept
Your life will be kept
But if you reject
You will soon regret
That I dont ***** around
You will be shut down
Blood is spilling
This is killing
All you had to do was accept me
All you had to do was respect me
And not be so selective
And not be so protective
If you never try and shape me
If you never try and make me
If you never try and take me
Then none of this would matter to me
Then none of this would shatter my dream
Then maybe I could finally be free
So let me tell you
That its okay
To be who you want to be
Even if it dont please three
And if they complain
Tell them that its your life
That you accept yourself
That you respect yourself
And That no one can take that away

I think you have a potential hard hitting poem here. My humble opinion: your poem would be more effective if you lose the first two stanzas and begin it at "Blood is spilling
This is killing"... and go from there. The first two stanzas just don't seem to flow with the rest of your poem. Otherwise, very good write.
