Lateness Of The Hour

I feel compelled to tell
All that will listen
Of Gods mighty power
And the importance
And lateness
Of the hour
For no man knows
When God
Will send his son
To rally his believer
When his work on earth
Is done
To the many unsaved
And lost
A cry will be heard
But their voices
Will not carry
Their spoken word
Far too many
Have heard the word
But failed to see
That their way was paid
So freely
At Calvary

My heart breaks for the lost. So many who will not listen. Imagine Noah hearing the cries and the people banging on the side of the ark. It tears me in two to think of it.
