There was a time when I would listen to you, And I would listen to everything you had to say; But now you are playing mind games and I can't... No, I won't listen to your accusations or cries, This is insane and I won't lower myself to this level. Why do you think that you are above all others? What is this game about that you are playing? I try to talk to you with sensitivity and my heart... Okay, so I am going to put this game to its end, I can't handle the stress or the pressure anymore. So, as I sit here and know that you are hurting inside, Goodbye and thanks for the memories... I am sorry you think that life is a game.

ah yes, the traditional theme of hurt turning against mind games...it was still a good poem though. |
