today i was sitting in my room,
looking out at the morning stars,
looking through the smokey skies,
thinking about how much warmer i am in your arms,
i saw your eyes gleaming down at me,
and i remembered how you smile,
but then the clouds covered the hiding moon,
even the moon eems in denial,
if i could change anything,
id turn this world right upside down,
empty out its contents,
then swap the pieces around,
id take the weight off of your back,
run my fingers through your hair,
look at you and smile with my eyes,
and suck the kiss when you stare,
id build your back up with mountains,
take the tears from your eyes and banish them to the sea,
pull a cloak of land over your shoulders,
and leave nothing for me,
believe me my darling,
believe me my sweet,
you deserve everything good in anyones life,
you deserve better,
you deserve to believe your right,
you can be loved,
you are not an island,
infact i have just made you my whole world,
you are loved,
you are what i need,
i couldnt live without you as my earth,
i would be stranded in space i plead,
you need it stronger,
you worked for it harder,
you suffered for longer,
and as i say,
if i could change anything,
id change my whole world into you today... "
