My guardian angel

Contributed by xx_lil_devilish_angel_xx on Sunday, 30th January 2005 @ 09:06:43 AM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

When my life seems to shatter into a million pieces of broken glass,
The soft, iridescent light shines upon her she detours me away from all my sadness,
She tells me my nightmares will eventually disappear and will soon pass,
But most of all I deeply value her for her great, warm loving kindness.

She brightens up my most dismal days makes my everyday life so joyful,
My guardian angel without a doubt, she glistens with the brightest white light,
She glorifies everything around me to her, my greatest friend, Im extremely grateful,
I promise eternally that Ill try to guide her too and never let her out of my sight.

She glitters ferociously like twinkling little stars in the dewy, black midnight sky,
Everything she touches she brings a gleeful laughter to; makes distress a thing of the past,
When everything seems to go wrong and when I can do nothing but let out a tearful cry,
Blazing warmth glows from within her, all of a sudden my troubles disappear so fast.

Like my personal bodyguard she toughens me up on the exterior so I can learn to cope again,
She makes me ignore all the tormenting treats life throws at you at times,
She replaces my grief with a substantial smile, takes away all my pain,
The depressing tune that plays through my head she replaces with a symphony of golden chimes.

I want her to know she can count on me, whenever and wherever I am Ill be there,
I value her like a precious antique I hope shes always mine to keep,
We laugh, we cry, we talk about everything; we are no doubt a humorous pair,
In the future well soar to the stars together, spring from our childhood pasts and leap.

My guardian angel, shell always stay in my soul, wherever I am, wherever I go,
Shell always be a special friend, one Ill be without a doubt be proud to have known,
Ill ponder in my thoughts that she made me escape from all my fears, never ever kept me low,
Well always stick together like two peas in a pod regardless of how much we have grown.
