All In Good Time

Contributed by SlimStaple on Sunday, 30th January 2005 @ 03:02:44 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Broken pens
Misread lines
Failed class
All in good time.

Grab my hand tonight
Sing with me, we will make it beautiful again
They cannot see us anymore
We are too far-gone.

Pump up the love in here
It has been so long without a hug
Lights flicker on and off
Finally I have found my place.

Broken pens
Misread lines
Failed class
All in good time.

I will brush the hair out of your eyes
if you kiss the top of my head
All this happens so fast
The colors blur into each other.

All I have had is ramen and fake love
This is abnormal to me
But it feels right so why stop?
We will dance in front of the fire
And drink coco in the biggest chair.

Broken pens
Misread lines
Failed class
All in good time.

I can forget about my life as a girl
And take on this new person
Now everything is so different
Everything is so right.
Finally I have it.

They have told me so much about love
And even more about life
But let us just forget all their words
And write our own world.

I like this a lot. Writing my own world... something I am trying hard to do. *Sighs* But preparation seems to take forever and there's confusion to boot. ANYWAY, this was a good write about making changes. Cheers!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
