To those left behind, its pain and grief But to those taken, its glorious relief It can come like lightening, one flash and youre gone Or it can be slow and painful, dragging on and on You never know when the Grim Reaper will call Theres no way to avoid the six-foot fall In a small box with dirt all around Nothing to do but lie underground People forget about you soon, they forget youre gone Only memories of you will always live on Nothing you had in your life matters now The question is are you going up or down People will walk around, hoping for the best That no matter what, in peace youll rest Youve got bigger problems to worry about Like will you get in Heaven or be kicked out Death is upon you before you know it You had plenty of time to change, did you blow it How was your life, was it bad or good Would you go back and change it if you could Well, too late, maybe now youll understand That life and death go hand in hand
