I never meant to make you cry
I love you girlie, that's no lie
Whether it's as a friend or something more
These thoughts confuse me to my core
I opened your wounds and poured in salt
Yet you say it's not my fault
A while back I revealed how I felt
But had to go, never saw how you dealt
Then you returned my feelings
And it sent my mind reeling
Yet nothing was done
We went about our fun
Until you reminded me today
And I found myself unsure of what to say
My feelings are still the same
Do we really want to continue with this game?
This game that causes so much commotion
The never ending game of emotion.
