Alone in the world
I am behind on life.
With a mind so crowded
yet so detached I am
envious of the lives of others
feeling finished with my own
Guilty for these emotions
remembering that I have so much
why am I hungry for so much more
my heart is knotted with longing
but for an unknown want
My emotions are mixed
my soul is confused
I just want the world to be quiet
to hear myself think
but my thoughts are so troubling
I go through life unnoticed and
vulnerable
Weary of yearning
