A shodow in the night,
you've been here before,
dancing in the wind,
hiding 'neath the stars.
Seeing what you know,
in this lovely spreading gloom,
and knowing that what you see,
is inside of you.
A dark familiar place,
under silver moon,
veiling from you,
reality and humanity.
Somewhere you've seen,
but you just can't place,
that shadow which lingers,
that darkness that lurks.
A phantom of your mind,
something from the past,
a dark and daring dream.
