How many long days
have I sat by the phone
waiting to hear your sweet voice?
How many long nights
have I spent, praying to god
hoping somhow you'd come home?
The hours trickle by slowly
like rain on my window
mabey time will wash away
this pane
Until then I'll stay waiting
keep hoping and praying
You'll be back in my arms once again
