Drown Your Feelings
Water can't drown the memories
It can't wash you clean
Water can't drown your feelings
Or the pain causing you to scream
This pain is here to stay
The thoughts will never fade
Away
You can't burn the past
Because it rises from the ashes
You can't have hope for the future
When it is still unsure
Life doesn't give
A reason to live
You can't forget everything
Because it haunts your dreams
You still see what it is to be
Left as just a memory
