FRIENDS
When you are young You have friends galore And sometimes to the extent They become a bore Then you get older And make many friends at work But when you leave work and retire My friendship they no longer desire So life goes on And the family and a few friends Make you happy your still above ground Its sad that people Are so concerned about the present And to neglect old friends I certainty resent So to all i must declare Remember you friends No matter how you despair so these words i am trying to unfold Friends are more precious than gold
