Because of how you're hurting me
Silent tears fall every hour
Why don't you try to be with me?
It's not too much to ask of you
A little time spent in your light
A telephone call now and then
Oh, what I would do if you'd come home
What you say doesn't mean a thing
When what you do makes it untrue
Well, I'm not getting what I need
From you - what the hell are you thinking?
Leaving me here is just not fair
I wish I could get through to you
If I give you what you give me
Maybe you'll see the way I feel
This is about being human
Yes, my love, I have a heart, and
It's wavering in an unsafe place
Keep this up, and damn, I'll break

Remember me? Yes, I need you
Clearly I just don't mean enough
For me to love you is not enough
I need you to talk to me now
I can't believe you didn't call
Don't I mean a goddamn thing?
It's been so long but you're not trying
Say you care and I'll laugh out loud

So you better damn well learn
That I need to see a little effort
If you think this is fine with me

Sweetie, I'm sorry to say this, cause I know you still care about him, and you may agree, but I just need to say, he's not worth it. He doesn't take into consideration your feelings. He needs to know that. You've already given him two chances, and I think you should stop trying if he doesn't care to try himself.
