I CAN SEE! by larry lile

Topic: ChristianPoetry

I can see across a valley, a man three times denied.
the man is forced, to pack a cross, there on the other side
I can see across the valley, the crowd thats gathered there.
to watch the man bare the cross, with a crown of thorns in his hair.

I can see across the valley as they slowley climb a hill.
Two other men have joined him now, propesy i see fulfilled.
I can see across the valley, as they nail him to the cross
I see the blood in his hands, I see the pain that it caused.

I can see across the valley, as he hangs there from the tree.
I see the man pray to God, I hear him pray for me!
I can see across the valley, as they gamble their below.
The greatest prize of all the worlds, is hanging above to behold.

I can see across the valley, the dark clouds rolling in.
Ten thousand angels their upon, awaiting his one command.
I can see across the valley, that none were loosed, not one
The son of God raised his head, and said father "it is done"!

I can see across the valley, as they lay him in a tomb.
I can see the stone roll away, i see his life resume!
I can see across the valley, his desiciples gathered there.
When the son of God, say's goodbye, then assends back home in the air

I can see across the valley, a river deep and wide.
my home prepaired and waiting their, upon the other side
I can see across the valley, God there on his throne.
with JESUS CHRIST, on his right, to claim me as his own!!!

Yes with JESUS CHRIST, on his right, to claim me as his own!!
