My heart's been torn in two,
There was nothing I could do,
Just to sit around and wait,
For your love to turn to hate,
After all the times I'd cried,
After everything I'd tried,
I was still not worth your glance,
Nor worth a meager chance,
All I did was love you,
And I thought you loved me too,
But of course I was not right,
And though you held me tight,
You had no thought to keep me,
And my heart was blind to see,
So stupid I was then,
Letting my heart fight and win,
So now I pay the price,
It will not happen twice,
As fee my heart was cost,
Oh, how I wish I hadnt lost!
