Morbid Addiction

Contributed by FleurdeSang on Wednesday, 2nd February 2005 @ 03:54:48 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Your poison kisses,
Your venomous words...
Painful embrace,
Masochist, sadist, manipulator...

But, somehow, through it all,
Im still addicted to you...
Thoughts of impending death,
Endless torment,
Penetrating my skin,
Sipping my crimson essence...

All a euphoric drug to you,
A satisfaction to your morbid fantasies...
Yank my chains,
Make me kneel...

Pull my hair,
Bruise my lips,
Re-open old wounds...
Make the blood flow once more..

Erotic obsessions, paranoia, insanity...
The warped sonata has begun,
A Melodie of my pain-filled screams...
Oh, but what pleasure, this bittersweet agony!!

Drifting away from it all,
I feel nothing...
I am.... numb...
Your fierce eyes laughing with maniacal glee,
As you slash me, tear me...

Reveal everything in me,
My lustful sins, my hidden desires,
This haggard soul...
Drowning in my own scarlet legacy,
Drowning in your eyes again..

I descend to a realm of darkness and madness,
Remnants of a past love decaying before my eyes...
Slave to you,
My hideous addiction,
Master...

Fear, the ultimate pleasure...
Revenge, the ultimate reward...
Death, the ultimate fantasy of all...

OH MY!!!
Very descriptive of an alternative relationship. This is amazing the way you have captured both the addiction and the thrill.
Most people don't realize that they seek this kind of thing on a lesser level, the thrill of controlled danger, like a roller coaster or sky diving, yes, fear can be very attrictive!
Well done!

I love the way you write them ... but I look at them a bit differently ...

Fear ... proof of existence
Revenge ... the cost of that proof
Death ... only but the beginning of a new existence

And a renewal of the cycle ...

Fabulous write Stephy ~

this is true for those of us who do like pain look at it this way it is not something that we dont like to talk adout with otheres but it is something that we do need to do, it becomes an addiction when we find that we like the need for it but still not many will understand all that you have said is true for the most part (not all of them apply to me but...) and we also find there to be beauty in it and at the same time pain that brings joy as well as agony. tenderly at first, but then you need more and more over time that is the onlyu draw back.

I did like this one even though I am not hard core in this aspect but I like it none the less. please do post again.

and just straight up great. I loved it all and just

The imagery was dark and disturbing and I
