Should I#2

Contributed by RICHARD_CAMPBELL on Wednesday, 2nd February 2005 @ 11:04:44 PM in AEST
Topic: goodbyepoetry

Should i close my eyes
and imagine as time goes by.
can i look at you,
and injoy your smile.

should i inquire, or even ask why?
why, we fight and apologize.
should i just except your cheating ways
or should i look for another on a different day.

what,?what can you say?
no longer will i debate my decision not to stay.
but i wish you long life,
what else can i say.
please injoy the rest of your day.

This is very heartfelt. I think you "accept," not "except" and "enjoy," not "injoy." The rhyme scheme goes well, and "no longer will i debate my decision not to stay" speaks volumes. Blessings.
