That Sweet Urge…

Topic: HumorPoetry

Its been a bleary day outside
So, I do those dreary chores to abide
I sit and figure the paycheck to bills
Oh boy what a workout the brain will need pep pills
Now off to vacuum this place
Just so the dust can be misplaced
My eyes a watering from all of that
Vroom this makes the hair stand on my cat!!
With all of that done,
Sit at the computer, have some fun
Take a break, get to the bath
Clean up for the night, watch TV for a laugh
Whilst the time does fly
I believe my tummy is having a munchie cry
So off to the kitchen I go
Searching for that sweet snack glow
Look what we have here
A container of dark chocolate there
Oh, I put the dipper in,
My mouth watering, the anticipation
Man oh man, must have dipped about 6 scoops
Topped off with creamy whip loops
Off to the couch I sit
With this wonderful treat, my spoon ready to fit
Ok, here goes.
Mmmmm.. Oh so good, this so smooth
Ahhhhh, now my appetite did sooth
That sweetness of food, was flattering
However, now I find my teeth are a chattering!!!!!!
