Pretend that they are truths
I will look you in the eyes
And not turn away
Hide everything inside
So you can't see the pain
I will make these vows
I know I cannot keep
Only whisper what I want to scream about
Then cry myself to sleep
I will swear there's nothing wrong
Bite my lip and smile
Swear I've been healthy all along
But somehow you still think I'm worth your while...
