How could you do this
just turn your back on me
you said youd always be there
when I needed you to be
well I need you now
but youre nowhere in sight
my heart is ripping into two
but dont worry Ill be alright
I thought that I could trust you
to be a solid stone
but when I start to need you most
it seems youre always gone
My world crumbles a little more
with every teardrop shed
and every morning that I wake up
I dont want to get out of bed
We used to be the best of friends
but I can see our bond begin to fade
Ill never forget the way I laughed
at the stupid jokes you made
Ill remember all the good times we shared
and Ill pray that we have more
but I hope you understand, for now
Im walking out the door
I just need a little time
to think all of this through
but Im hoping that in a while
youll see how much I need you.
