Yesterday I Let Go

Contributed by ruthie1983 on Friday, 4th February 2005 @ 12:08:49 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

The other day I was miserable because of you,
Yesterday I woke up and decided to let go,
I decided to forget about our endless love,

Compared to Mount Everest and the Pacific,
My love for you will always remain,
I will always cherish the love we had,
Even though Im letting go babe,

Days, weeks, and months passed by,
I waited to hear your voice for so long,
Waited for the day you will come back,
For you to tell me, you need me, want me,

Its like waiting for an endless result,
Knowing they will never be an answer,
Always wondering where your heart is,
There is no purpose of thinking about you

I never thought you will quit on me,
Never thought my life will be upside down,
Because of you babe, because of you,

It's time for me to let go and forget,
Its time for me to start a new life,
Im tired of waiting for an endless result,
Yesterday I let go, but today I will forget,

Yeah...
I... too... know what it's like to have a broken heart... I don't think there is a person alive who doesn't...
Excellent write. You're not only letting go of him... but also the feelings you have bottled up inside. This is an excellent way to do so.
