I Will Find You

Contributed by avanottingham on Friday, 4th February 2005 @ 02:54:58 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I don't believe it
I'm sure I heard them wrong
'Cause I still see your face
Here where you are strong

But you were bleeding
And you were all alone
I know that you tried
But I can't let you go

I will find you
And I will bring you home
'Cause I can't live life crying
And I don't want to know
A world without you
When you meant everything
Within our darkest hour
Will you rescue me?

They don't believe it
I hear you call to me
I feel you shine your love upon me
Forcing me to breathe

I swear I'll find you
I swear I'll bring you home
Because nothing stands between us
This love is all I know
A world inside of me
Where you mean everything
Within our darkest hour
You have rescued me

I have this part of you
A part that never leaves
In my heart where you are strongest
You will live eternally

Actually, I wrote the poem because of a dream I had.

The dream consisted of someone I loved dearly having died from the start of the dream, and I spent the rest of it searching for a piece of him. In the end of it I found a lock of hair, something of him left on this earth. I shouldn't have categorized it as "Lost Love" because the point was I never really lost him.

But thank you for your kind words. I'll take the intentions to heart =)
