I heard a conversation from the table by my side She spoke of all the pain he caused and how much he had lied I wondered for a moment I thought how could this be This lady I had never met had a story just like me The sadness in her voice made a tear roll down my cheek Her freind so understanding as answers she did seek How could this love she cherished turn out to be a farce Her life would never be the same for he had broke her heart I turned and looked around I needed just a glance To see this one whose story seemed so like mine perchance Much to my astonishment I began to understand The reason for our sadness We both shared the same man

Blessings. |
