I thought I had my one true friend
Sadly we can't even be friends again
Redemption is something I can easily do
Now that you've brought to my attention
The true person deep inside of you
You twisted my life into coils
I'm a phoenix from the ashes
I've found my happiness
And it's no thanks to you
Youre out of sight out of mind
Such good friends one day
The next bitter enemies
Whos holding the grudge not I?
Whos dwelling on the before not I
Youre the farthest thing from my mind
