The story-DEVON-

Contributed by jjones12 on Saturday, 5th February 2005 @ 12:31:46 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

It's about th rope, the basement, the death, the saddness,it's about my cousin Devon and his death,
I'll never forget the trip he took to heaven, and not knowing why he let the basket slide away,I'll never forget how close he was to the ground,
It's about why he did it, how he felt, did he forget it was his brothers 9th birthday,
He never said he was hurt, yet he was perfectyou could of never thought there was anything wrong,
I don't know why this happend to mym family but it must have been part of gods plan,
i can't forget the story of my uncle and when he had found him with horror and hurt, and having to cut him down giving all he could to make him survive,
it was to late he had left us,no note no sign just pain inside,
it's about you mom yelling at you, for not calling or telling you'd be home late that night and she was worried about you and if you were ok,
It's about being 17 with a girlfirend you just met,
What about Jayden you don't even know her anymore, or what about all of the other additions to our family,
Devon what about basketball you were the best on your team, and what about the family reunionswe planned,or your goals and your dreamsDevon why did you do itand didn't tell us why,no matter what was wrong we still would love you just as much,

I'll get to tell you my secret crush all though you proably know as you're looking down on us Devon we love you and miss you a lot we loved your entertainment and your great big heart,
Even though your death is a mystery we won't have you forgot,
Devon we hate to have you missed but it's ok because we know your up there in paradise and I know your up there with grandpa and he's taking care of you,
I hated to say goodbye, goodbye's are the worst I felt like i was going to cry i swear it's a curse,
I always try to remember you in my prayers mornig and night,
Deveon give grandpa Milt a hug and give my other ancestors a hello but the real message is to tell you we miss you more than you'll ever know!

Gosh... I'm so sorry. I can't imagine how tough it must be to go through something like that... A beautiful way to express your feelings...
